Kevin Homes (ABN 90 633 501 532) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

  1. 01What we collect

    We only collect information we need to respond to you and to plan and carry out your build. That may include:

    • Your name, email address, phone number and suburb, and what you tell us about your project, when you fill in an enquiry form, email or call us.
    • Your site address, plans, selections, contract and payment details if we go on to work together.
    • Basic technical information our hosting provider records when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested.

    You don't have to give us any of this, but we may not be able to respond to an enquiry without a way to contact you.

  2. 02How we use it

    • To respond to your enquiry and arrange a site visit.
    • To prepare scopes, quotes and contracts, and to design, build and hand over your home.
    • To keep you updated during your build and to provide warranty and maintenance service afterwards.
    • To meet our legal, licensing and insurance obligations.

  3. 03Who we share it with

    We don't sell your personal information. We share it only where it's needed for your project or required by law — for example with:

    • Designers, engineers, surveyors, certifiers and the trades working on your build.
    • Councils and other authorities that approve the work.
    • Our insurers, financiers and professional advisers.
    • Service providers who run our website, email and records, under obligations to keep it confidential.

    Some of those service providers may store information on servers outside Australia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected to a standard consistent with Australian law.

  4. 04Cookies

    This site sets one essential cookie, kh_consent, which remembers your cookie choice for twelve months. We don't currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add them, they will only run if you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner.

    You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page, or clear cookies in your browser.

  5. 05Storage and security

    We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it — building records are kept for as long as the law and our warranty obligations require — and then destroy or de-identify it.

  6. 06Accessing and correcting your information

    You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable time, and tell you why if we can't meet a request.

  7. 07Complaints

    If you're concerned about how we've handled your information, contact us first and we'll try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

  8. 08Changes to this policy

    We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last changed at the top.
